First Ever Art Exhibition in Oct, 2011

It all began with a chat with an aunt.

I met Aunt Gellien from work. We have known each other for quite awhile, lately, she realized that I am an artist too. I show her my work and suddenly, she said, "Why don't you join me to do the Art Exhibition this year?" Aunt Gellien is a landscape artist, I heard from coworkers that she holds her own exhibition every year, I never knew she would invite me to hold an Art Exhibition with me.

 

Honestly, I don't think I am ready, but I have to try. My expectation was not to sell or to get famous from this first exhibition, but to hear critique and comments from others, sometimes, Artist can't just live in their own cave and think how good they are. 

So ya, because of this exhibition, I began to force myself to keep painting, keep doodling whenever I have time, keep going to life drawing to improve my skills. It feels like going back to school haha.
