Why so serious?

Some of you might know that I no longer work in the animation field (I became a video editor and production assistance for about a month and a half).

During this time, I kept asking myself if I am "quitting animation"? Honestly, I do not have the answer yet, but my dad once said, "if it (he meant animation, movie and etc) is in your heart, even though you don't get there at this moment, eventually you'll go back that path."

This is a good time to ask what I want to achieve in my life. Is it animation? Is it movie? or something else? I do not know. So before I found my "life goal", I'll keep learning. Right now, I love my job being a video editor, and due to my lack of formal training, I begin to see what I need is not just the technical skills in editing, but also the "art sense". So, once my job are more stable, I'll take some fine art course or painting course. Hehe... then I can claim to be a real artist~! haha ^O^

my Nintendo DS painting!! ^O^

This painting is done by a nintendo DS program called Colors!


I've heard of this program in DS for quite awhile, but I never try it coz first, i don't have a DS and ... i kept telling myself i have no time for painting and such and such.

Recently, my brother bought his new toy PSP and asked if I wanna play his DS, i'm like, sure, why not =D so, i remember this program and try it. haha, but wow, once i tried it, i get addicted instantly!! coz i can do painting anywhere, on the subway (and secretly at work =P haha but not so secretly coz my friend saw me painting at work =P haha) Also, if you're in a wi-fi available area, you can send ur drawing to ur email, how cool is that!!

but ya, i'm amazed by the simplicity yet efficient function of this program, and the only complain i have is that, the resolution of the picture is a bit too low.

anyways, i'm happy enough ;)

Lately, still struggling with job searching. Honestly, it's getting frustrating and discouraging, yet, life is never smooth and a bumpy life is a gift of God, the gift of motivation.

To make a living, I'll begin to apply to any job. As my dad always taught me, if I have passion in this field, even though I am not able to step a foot in this industry at this moment, eventually, I'll get there. That's my belief.
